This cinematic was coded before
ANY of Roberta’s upgrades were coded. In the previous cinematic, which
you HAVE to get before this one, as you can’t GET here until saving
Bogshot, she’s up to date. In this one, she’s wearing her Red Robes
again and carrying her makeshift wand. To match this one, you must
mismatch the one in Bogshot. |

NOTE: You have to buy these upgrades at the
inflated price to match the cinematic. Allowing for the fact that
apperantly Roberta was supposed to decide to pass over the Magician’s
Wand here because (I think) it’s a downgrade from the Sorcerer’s Wand
you get in Dark Meridell (which is 8,000np, BTW) that means that TNT
supposedly expected you to have 67,999np on hand going into Market Town.
Therefore…I am assuming that they forgot they were coding the prices up
before making the cinematic. I don’t think anyone can afford to match
this cinematic, even if you haven’t bought anything else the whole game.
If you can, more power to you, but I should warn you that we, while
doing the run through we’re doing to allow us to write this guide,
meaning doing EVERYTHING in the game so far, at this point in the game,
we’re 44,293np short of that lofty goal. We’ve bought nothing but
upgrades, and several Potions of Meerca Speed to buzz through the game
faster. Adding in the 6,000np spent on Potions of Meerca Speed…as you
can see, we’re still quite short, and that’s buying ONLY what they
EXPECTED and almost forced you to buy.
I don’t THINK so.

Royal Armour |

(This SHOULD have been the
Golden Shield, as it’s in the next one and the one before this one, and
there’s no place to upgrade between. It’s a glitch. You should have the
Gold Shield now, but if you don’t you can upgrade later at the Hidden
Tower)
