Chapter 2:

Dawn entered her room which she was going to share with Hermione and Ginny. It was like sharing a room with Willow in two persons. Hermione was the smart and knowledgeable and confident Willow. Ginny was the nice and shy Willow. This was making her comfy around them.

She was surprised to see her stuff already in her room. Hermione saw her surprise. "Hagrid must have brought them here."

"Yeah." Dawn turned toward Hermione. "He is like big teddybear."

Ginny overheard it and giggled. She took her toiletries and a towel. "I'll show you where the showers are." And waited for Dawn to take her stuff to follow her.

A quatre hour later they came back in their p.j.'s. Hermione sat on her bed with books and parchments. Dawn picked one up.

"What's with the Slayer obsession."

Hermione looked up and smiled. "It is a research project. I found out about the Slayer last week and was trying to find out if she was real. She might help Harry against You Know Who."

Dawn knew, that was part of the reason they were here to help Harry against Voldemort. "So this isn't schoolwork." Hermione nodded her head. "That is 'so' Willow-like."

"Willow?" Hermione asked.

Ginny sat on her bed and Dawn was sitting next to her. "My sister's best friend. A very powerful witch."

"Cool, how is she like?" Ginny asked.

Dawn thought about it for a minute. "Okey, if we would make a Willow potion." Ginny giggled. Hermione looked serious. "The first ingredient would be sugar for she is sweet and nice. 1, no 2 books for knowledge, a brick wall for her resolve-face, a tongue from a babbling pixie, a lock of Weasley hair," She touched Ginny's hair and she giggled. "a pink ribbon for her being gay."

"Gay?" Both girls asked.

"Yeah."

"And your sister?" Ginny asked curious.

"Nah, she's boy crazy. But not very lucky in that department." Ginny wanted to know more, but Dawn continued. "Now we need something from Hermione." Hermione looked confused. "Her quill for her joy in studying." Hermione laughed. "While we stirred it carefully, we put a uranium rod in the mix for power." Ginny looked confused. Dawn saw it. "A very powerful Muggle metal. And voila our Willow potion is finished."

"She seems like an interesting person to meet." Hermione mentioned

"She really has Weasley hair?" Dawn nodded. "I'm going to ask my mother to make her an honourable Weasley." That produced a fit of giggles and laughter.

Dawn got a better look off one of the books. She took it and read. "The Slayer: the fairytale. Would you mind if I borrow this one?" She asked Hermione.

"No, but please don't lose it. I borrowed it from the Weasleys." Hermione thought about something. "Did you know the Slayers your sister worked with?"

"Only the second one. The first one died before I could even meet her. Why?"

"Maybe you could help me with my research?" Hermione was almost begging her.

"Sure, if we put our cards right, we can get extra credit from my sister."

Hermione was almost beaming. She definitely had some Willow attributes.

"But I'll help tomorrow. I'm not doing any schoolwork before school started."

Hermione looked disappointed and Ginny giggled.

"Lets talk about something more important like boys."

Hermione looked at Ginny and she stared back and both started to grin. "Speaking of boys, especially the Weasley twins. Did you noticed how they were swarming around you?"

"I think my brothers like you." Ginny added teasingly. Dawn blushed and threw a pillow toward Ginny's head. And that was the start of the great Pillow Fight.

Buffy was waiting in the Headmaster's office. She was petting and feeding the phoenix with a cracker.

"Hello birdie." Buffy said with a sad voice. "You know we have a lot in common. I can't stay death either."

"That isn't the only thing you have in common with her."

"Evening Albus." Buffy still had her back to the Headmaster. "You sneak like a vampire and it's never smart to sneak up on a Slayer. It's the best way to get yourself hurt or even death." It was a simple statement no treat involved.

"Why don't you sit down. Severus and Minerva will be shortly here."

At the name of Severus Buffy huffed. "I don't like him. He is creepy." With a moment pause. "Do you trust him."

"Yes, with my live and my students's."

"He is tainted by black magic and you know it." Again she made a statement.

"Yes, I know."

"I'll kill him, if he becomes a treat to my sister."

"He knows."

"Good"

They waited in silent for the other Professors. A knock came loud and clear from the door.

"Please, come in."

Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape entered the room. Minerva smiled kindly to the petite Slayer. She returned it in kind. Snape almost greeted her with a growl, but she just gave him blank expression. That she was ignoring him, as if he was nothing, was worse than treating him. He was used to be the 'Big Bad' at Hogwart. He intimidated people, they don't intimidated him. Even Lupin and Sirius feared him on some level, they would never show it or admit it. But this girl, yes girl barely out of her twenties, was not even a bit scared. Worse she scared him.

The first day she was at Hogwart, he knew that she had strength, but not the power behind it. He never expected that. He tried to intimidate her, but with a few well placed words she had him against the wall. She put a finger on his chest without any pressure behind it. He couldn't move. Albus of course found it amusing. And now she ignored him like he wasn't more than a fly. He knew she ignored him on purpose, just to piss him off.

Buffy stood up and walked around the desk and stood next to Dumbledore. She asked him silently permission to speak. He granted it in the same fashion. "What I'm going to tell, isn't going to leave these four walls." She glanced over both the Professors, but glanced one second more on Snape. He noticed.

She didn't wait for conformation. "This had to do with my sister and Potter."

Snape snarled. "Didn't like the way he looked at her?" Buffy just gave him her blank expression.

"Severus, please. This probably has something to do with why she had summoned him at the teacher's table."

"Hate to say it, but you are both right." She gave Minerva a small smile and of course ignored him. "Harry was staring strangely at Dawn. When I asked him why. He answered, that he saw a green light." They both had questions in their eyes. "I told him to speak about this to nobody, with the exception of Albus here."

Snape snarled. "Fat change in Hell he is keeping this from Ganger or that Weasley boy."

"He won't tell them anything, at least for the moment. And when he has a talk with Albus here and finds out he'll put Dawn in danger. He'll keep it quiet. I might even tell them myself. But they are not the problem."

She pointed at some parchments. "After I've read Harry's record I found the reason why he sensed something odd about Dawn."

"You still haven't told us what is different about your sister." Snape was beginning to get slightly irritated.

"Hold you pants, Sev. I'll come to that part later." He was about to puff, when she gave him one of her looks. "There are a few persons and creatures, that can sense the 'oddity' about my sister. One are insane people. No he isn't insane. The second is serpents and canines."

"Harry speaks Parseltongue. This is interesting. This means that being a Parseltongue goes further, than speak only." Minerva interrupted.

"That's what I figured out. But here starts the real problem. Guess where Harry got this gift from and who also speaks snake language."

"Oh, no. You think that You Know Who might go after your sister." Minerva asked in shock.

"Yes, he might not know what she is, but he'll sense the power and might kidnap her to find out what she is." She took a look around. They waited patiently for her to continue. "Now come the part, where I tell you what she is. She is an innocent and my sister." She made sure Snape understood that. "She is also a mystical energy ball called the Key of Dimensions." They don't seems to recognized the term. "You never heard of the Key?" Both shook their heads. "Good, if you guys don't know it and I've been looking for a week in the Restricted Area. It is a good chance that there is no written record in the wizardworld."

"How come that the Key is your sister?" Minerva asked.

"And to which dimension is she the key to?" Snape asked.

"The monks who guarded the Key, made her out of my blood so that I would protect her. At the beginning we didn't even know she was the Key. Neither did she. That's why she is an innocent." Buffy friendly answered Minerva question. She turned to Snape. "All."

Snape carefully asked. "What would happened if somebody would use the Key."

"Someone already did. She tried to go home and open all the dimensions at once. I stopped her. And to answer you next question. No it can't be done again. Because the scrolls are destroyed, plus it was for a specific time and place. It was an one time shot. But that doesn't mean that she can be used for something else." For the first time Snape could see a weakness in the armour of the Slayer. Buffy was showing concern.

Dumbledore took over. "The reason we telling you this, is because Dawn is a guest in your House, Minerva. You should know the danger she's in." He turned to Snape. "And Severus, you are told because of the Death Eater's children in you house."

Snape understood. "If I hear something relevant. I'll report to you." Snape stood up. "If there is nothing else I'll take my leave. Albus, Minerva." He was leaving.

But Buffy stopped him. "There is one more thing. I was appalled of Slytherin's behaviour at dinner this evening. Albus agrees with me. That's why I have a class on Friday after dinner mandatory for all Slytherins."

Snape stopped in mid-track. "What kind of class is it?"

Buffy grinned. Snape didn't see it, but Minerva saw it and shuddered. "It's a surprise. But you are welcome to participate. You might learn something." Snape left without a word.

Minerva was curious. "What are you planning to do?"

Buffy gave her a wicked smile. "You will see. A few of your Gryffindors might join the Slytherins."

Minerva was confused and then she smiled. "Would you mind if I come Friday and watch you teach."

"Of course not. You are welcome." Buffy showed her most innocent face to her.

Minerva stood up. "I think we are finished here. Goodnight Buffy, Albus."

"Good night, Minerva." Both Buffy and Dumbledore said.

After Professor McGonagall left Buffy turned to Dumbledore. "Lets talk about Lupin and Sirius."
